Sean Joyce is a sophomore from Legacy High School in Bismarck, North Dakota. He is involved in his school’s Student Council, Science Olympiad, Academic Olympics, varsity tennis team, high school clay target league, and works as a section editor for the Legacy High School Uncut Magazine. He also volunteers for Bismarck’s Gateway to Science, has received NUMATS awards for academic achievement, and now, is a member of the WJMC Youth Advisory Board in 2018. He is hoping to pursue a degree in astrophysics or astronomy after graduation in 2020. He looks forward to going to many journalism conferences in the next 3 years and hopes to help make WJMC 2018 the best journalism conference yet.
