Beth Marshall, CJE, M.Ed., has been teaching English for 29 years, and teaching and advising journalism for six. She advises the Endeavor yearbook and The Rocket Review online news website for Richmond-Burton Community High School in Richmond, IL. She earned her Masters of Journalism Education through Kent State University. This program helped develop her passion for scholastic journalism. Additionally, she is the President of the Kettle Moraine Press Association, which works with scholastic journalism students and their teachers throughout Northern Illinois and Wisconsin. Beth is also the proud mother of three boys, including her oldest son, Flynn, who has Down syndrome and who has taught her the importance of acceptance and kindness. Flynn also made her a fan of the WWE. Beth is excited to join the faculty at WJMC.
