Addison Cabeen is a junior at Renaissance Secondary School in Castle Rock, Colorado. Cabeen is a driven journalist, avid designer, cheerleader, and fashion enthusiast. She is also honored to be a 2024 Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC) alumni. One of Cabeen’s published stories, “The Rodeo Queen,” was recognized with a “Best of Sno” award in February 2024. Currently, Cabeen is working to bring journalism to her school by starting a school newspaper. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring various types of art. Cabeen is thrilled to have the opportunity to guide this year’s National Youth Correspondents through their journey at WJMC and help create a positive and memorable experience for the WJMC community!
