ALLISON ALBERTY

Junior Faculty Advisor

Rising college senior Allison Alberty attends George Mason University, where she studies communications with a minor in political communications and a concentration in public relations.  She is also a Mason Honors College student, where she spends much of her time researching effects of history and social movements. Originally from Ashland, Ohio, Allison moved to the D.C. area to pursue her goal of finding a job as a Director of Communication or Press Secretary on the Hill after she graduates. Outside of her studies, Allison serves as Vice President of Recruitment and Marketing for Kappa Delta, a Social Media and Graphics Editor for the Fourth Estate, and as a Washington Scholars’ Social Media Marketing Intern. Prior to her junior and senior year in college, Allison has served as a Press Intern at the Capitol and as a former WJMC Social Media Intern. Allison is looking forward to her fourth year at WJMC, where she hopes to impact correspondents’ lives with her own passion for journalism.
