Ambar Roche Quinones

 Ambar Carolina Roche Quinones, a 16-year-old Puerto Rican girl, is a junior at Wesleyan Academy with a strong passion for leadership and community impact, with the aspiration of becoming a journalist. At her young age, she has already accomplished numerous projects that she believes will help her in her future profession. She has completed a summer program at WJMC, discharged the duties of school photographer, NJHS and NHS historian. The junior student founded and is now the Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper, “The Wesleyan Wire”, where she is known for her strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ambar hopes to continue developing her leadership skills to make a lasting impact as she states, “Journalism is not only a profession but a lifelong commitment to empowering voices and telling stories that matter”.
