Annie Mae is the Arena Host for the Washington Capitals NHL Team at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

This is her first season with the Capitals, and second season working for the NHL. Prior to joining Monumental Sports, Annie Mae worked for the Columbus Blue Jackets as a Broadcast Associate, creating feature stories, doing player interviews and hosting podcasts.

She also spent last summer working for the NHL in New York City on a show covering the Eastern and Western Conference Finals for the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs at just 23 years old.

For education, Annie Mae attended Penn State University’s College of Communications and majored in Broadcast Journalism while simultaneously working for the Penn State Hockey Team, NBC Sports and the Centre County Report.

Currently alongside working as a host, Annie Mae is a freelance content creator and broadcaster for Bleacher Report and FOX5 DC.
