EMILY FOSKER

Junior Faculty Advisor

Emily Fosker is a student at Northwestern University pursuing a BS in journalism with minors in economics, business, and marketing. She has an interest in broadcast and photojournalism and is involved in campus publications for these interests. She is ecstatic to return to WJMC as a Junior Faculty Advisor after attending in 2022!

Ellee Guin

ELLEE GUIN

Ellee Guin is a junior in high school from Gainesville, Florida. As a self-growth podcaster and social media creator for her high school’s student government, she loves to learn how media affects the individual as well as the community. She has a part-time receptionist job at the local gym, Gainesville Health and Fitness, as she has a passion for health and well-being. In her day-to-day life, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading, and attending as many school events as possible.

Destiny Banton

DESTINY BANTON

Destiny Banton loves the colr blue, comic books, and anime. She loves her family, her dog, and extremely spicy food. She has a passion for all things lego, and she loves writing.

David Caine

DAVID CAINE

Junior Faculty Advisor, Alum 2022

David Caine is a rising junior at the University of Florida, studying journalism. He was a correspondent at WJMC in 2022, intern in 2023, and Junior Faculty Advisor in 2025. He is incredibly excited to be returning as a JFA once again to inspire others the way WJMC inspired him. David loves acting in shows at UF and serves as the Director of Mass Communications for one of UF’s theatre organizations. He also works as a Sunday School teacher and operations intern at UF Hillel, helping students and staff. Outside of his studies, David loves spending time with his family and friends, as well as his two cats. He can’t wait to return to WJMC to make meaningful memories and connections!

Crishaunna Stokes

Crishaunna Stokes is a 16 years old from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She attended WJMC Summer of 2022. She is happy to be a part of the YAB for this conference.

Christen McAdoo

CHRISTEN MCADOO

Christen McAdoo is from Graham North Carolina. She has been interested in Journalism for about 4 years now and is extremely passionate about this topic. After college, she plans on becoming a News Anchor and working in the Maryland or D.C area. Christen is excited to be on the Youth advisory board to make sure that future youth correspondents have the best time at George Mason like she did.

Charlotte Baumgard

CHARLOTTE BAUMGARD

Charlotte Baumgard is a senior at Schuylkill Valley High School in Leesport, Pennsylvania where she is the Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper, The Pantherette, and the Editor-in-Chief and Head Layout Editor of her school literary magazine, Epiphany. She participates in theatre both in and out of school and she was recently selected as a finalist for Reading Civic Theatre’s annual performance gala. She absolutely loves writing, listening to music, daydreaming, being around friends, and consuming art. She is so excited to help others experience WJMC!

Casey Mann

CASEY MANN

Casey Mann is a junior at Pea Ridge High School in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. She is a member of the Color Guard and she is the secretary for her school’s chapter of the NHS. Casey attended session 1 of WJMC 2022 and was in the pink group. WJMC made her love for journalism grow exponentially and she is very excited to continue her journey as a member of the YAB.

Breanna Pierre-Toussaint

BREANNA PIERRE-TOUSSAINT

Breanna Pierre-Toussaint is a junior at Nazareth Regional High School in Brooklyn, New York. She participates in many school activities including the chess club, media arts club, and is a part of the school softball team. She is in the National Honor Society and The National Society of High School Scholars. When she graduates high school, she would like to major in government and economics, and business. Her dream career is to be a corporate lawyer.

Ben Tallant

BEN TALLANT

Ben Tallant is currently a senior at Tupelo Christian Preparatory School in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he is the “Voice of the Eagles” announcing for the varsity football, baseball, and basketball teams. Aside from this, he is a member of my school’s powerlifting, track, and golf teams where he has won four state championships. Ben hopes to one day become a successful sports broadcaster specifically in the college sports world. He looks forward to helping make WJMC 2023 just as incredible as it was for him in 2022.
