Bria Lloyd is a media professional with experience in local, national, and international TV, film, and radio. She’s produced a wide array of projects including investigations, documentaries, and narrative podcasts. Her work has taken her to Norway where she produced a documentary about prison reform. That story received an Edward R. Murrow Award and was nominated for a regional Emmy. She’s also the co-host and producer of the podcast “In Absentia,” which explores the history of government scandals in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The podcast was awarded a PMJA award. She’s currently managing the production of a documentary that explores Black history in her hometown in Northern Virginia. She recently earned her master’s degree in media management from The New School where she focused her studies on TV and film acquisitions and distribution. She hopes to one day become a media executive.
