JESSICA D'ANIELLO
Junior Faculty Advisor
Jessica DAniello is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in journalism with a television/radio minor at Hofstra University in Long Island. At Hofstra, Jessica writes for Her Campus magazine and video edits for the school’s television HEAT network. Outside of her work in journalism, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, painting or making jewelry. Jessica can’t wait to meet everyone and spend time back at the place that inspired her to study journalism!
REID COLLINS
Junior Faculty Advisor
Reid Collins, a rising senior at George Mason is originally from Marion, Virginia. He is excited to be back at Mason and with the WJMC again! As a Mason student, he is majoring in Government and International Politics. He also works for the Office of Admissions as a Mason Ambassador and Admissions Outreach Fellow. Reid is excited to work with WJMC again this summer!
KAYLA LAMBERT
Junior Faculty Advisor
Kayla Lambert is a second year student at Western Michigan University, double majoring in English (Literature and Language) and Political Science. Kayla is a part of the Lee Honors College, and is a staff-reporter for WMU’s student newspaper, the Western Herald. She deeply enjoys the work she does for the staff, which includes her working with her passion for writing and other people interested in journalism. In addition, she is an intern for the WMU College of Arts and Sciences Marketing and Communications department. Kayla owns and runs a small photography business outside of school. She loves reading, writing, trying new coffee drinks, spending time with her pets, and obviously, photography! Kayla looks forward to being a Junior Faculty Advisor this upcoming summer!
LAUREN LARSON
Junior Faculty Advisor, Alum 2022
Lauren is a rising sophomore at Colorado College, where she is majoring in English
literature. At college, she works for the writing center as a peer consultant, participates in a large dance performance every semester called Dance Workshop, and recently received a position as the poetry editor for their literary magazine, The Leviathan. Lauren attended WJMC as National Youth Correspondent from Denver, Colorado in 2022 and returned as an intern for the conference in 2023. Lauren likes tea/coffee, reading, writing, dancing, and taking long naps in the middle of the day. She is excited to return to WJMC for a third year and meet new people and have an
enriching experience as a JFA.
MIRANDA URBANCZYK
Junior Faculty Advisor, Alum 2022
Miranda is a journalism student at Michigan State University whose passion is
reporting about music and entertainment. While focusing on written journalism,
she also has discovered a love for photography. Outside of school, she makes an
effort to stay involved in the world of journalism. Miranda contributes to Atwood
Magazine, Best Left Magazine, and is the co-founder of Righteous Reviews.
GRACE CRUM
Junior Faculty Advisor, Alum 2022
Grace is a Dean’s List and Faculty Honors student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in communications and biology. She is a rising junior on Georgia Tech’s cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams. She has a passion for science communications and public relations. She is excited to return to WJMC after attending in 2022, where she can contribute back to the program that means so much to her.
EMILY FOSKER
Junior Faculty Advisor
Emily Fosker is a student at Northwestern University pursuing a BS in journalism with minors in economics, business, and marketing. She has an interest in broadcast and photojournalism and is involved in campus publications for these interests. She is ecstatic to return to WJMC as a Junior Faculty Advisor after attending in 2022!
DAVID CAINE
Junior Faculty Advisor, Alum 2022
David is a second-year journalism major at the University of Florida. He was a correspondent at WJMC in 2022 and an intern in 2023, and is so happy to be returning as a Junior Faculty Advisor. David loves acting in shows at UF, is heavily involved with Jewish life on campus, and overall just enjoys spending time with his friends and family, along with his two cats. He can’t wait for this summer to return to the people who helped spark his interest in journalism, and inspire others!
MAIJA ROBINSON
Junior Faculty Advisor
Maija Robinson is a rising Junior at George Mason University and is majoring in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. Aside from classes, she is an intern for Mason’s Washington ScholarS Program. Maija also enjoys attending school events and spending time with others. She aims to enter the field of Public Relations upon graduating. Maija attended WJMC in the summer of 2019 and she is more than happy to be able to experience it again this summer!
