FIONA BROWN
Fiona Brown is a senior at Lennard High School in Florida. She is captain of her Interscholastic Equestrian Association team and competes for Madison Stables and Tarawin Farm. She is also a Collegiate Academy Ambassador for her school and talks to middle school students and their parents about a future path in the Lennard Collegiate Academy. Fiona attended WJMC in the summer of 2024 where she was able to explore journalism as a career and make meaningful connections to those she met.
EMMERSON QUIGLEY
Emmerson is an Alumni of WJMC Session 2 of 2024. She will be attending college in the fall of 2025 to study Radio, Television and Film. She is working towards becoming a film actress. She focuses heavily on her craft of acting as well as consistently writing. Though she is extremely visually impaired she manages to still strive for success and achieve it and she hopes to instill that part of her in others.
EMMA GARDNER
Emma is a wonderful, hard working person. She makes it her point to make sure everyone around her is happy, safe and healthy. Emma likes to do so by setting things up that everyone enjoys and having things anyone can use. She is a joy to be around.
EMILY CYPHER
Emily Cypher is a Junior at Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, Florida. As someone who loves to be active in her community, Emily is the President of her club Craft of Service, and is the Director of Photography for her school’s award-winning publication, The Twice-Told Tale. Outside of school, Emily had the opportunity to be a part of WJCM as well as getting to study abroad for a week long course at Oxford’s Pembroke College with Oxbridge. Emily continues to explore her passion for journalism and media, constantly looking for new opportunities.
ELSA WEBSTER
Webster is a WJMC alum from 2024 and lives in Severna Park Maryland where she is the Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper and an editor for her school’s literary arts magazine. In addition to journalism she has an interest in politics and enjoys combining the two and writing articles about political topics. Webster is very passionate about journalism and is excited to come back to WJMC to help other young journalists discover the field of journalism through the program
ELOISE WALLACE
This is Eloise Wallace. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and is a junior in high school at Fort Worth Country Day School. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, writing articles for her school’s newspaper, watching football and other sports, being an editor for her school’s yearbook, and reading books. She attended WJMC 2024, and had the time of her life. She is very excited to have the opportunity to serve on the Youth Advisory Board for WJMC this year.
DIEGO RAMOS RIVERA
Diego is an 11th-grade student at Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ever since he started studying at San Ignacio in 2020, he has been proactively participating in many clubs and associations. Presently he is the Editor-in-Chief of San Ignacio’s students’ newspaper El Ignaciano, and a member of the UN Model, Yearbook Club, Politics Club, Admissions Club, Oratory Club, and Peer Ministers. Diego is passionate about the art of writing, music, history, and leadership. He is also involved in many anti-bullying campaigns, as he collaborates in Costruyendo Solidaridad e Igualdad Committee.
CHRISTOPHER COHEN
Christopher is currently a senior at Holy Cross High School, in Queens New York. He is currently the head manager for Holy Cross Televison (HCTV). During his time at HCTV Christopher has been able to edit videos, direct HCTV specials, and be on air. Christopher thoroughly enjoyed his time at WJMC in the summer of 2024 and wants to bring the same experience he had to a new generation of kids.
CHARLOTTE LARSON
Charlotte Larson is a High School junior, she is an aspiring journalist and psychologist. She enjoys writing, hiking, horror movies, and exploring. Charlotte attended the 2024 WJMC conference and is excited to be a part of the YAB
