Balerie Rodriguez is a senior at Queens Metropolitan High School and a proud alumna of the 2025 WJMC (#GreenMachine). She plans to continue her education in college, pursuing a degree in either sports media broadcasting or nursing. In her free time, Balerie loves watching anything baseball-related—whether it’s highlights of a specific player or classic World Series games from past years (Let’s go Mets!). She is incredibly grateful and honored to be part of the WJMC Advisory Board and cherishes the amazing, unforgettable experience she had at the conference.

Aubrey Brown is a student at Green Hope High School and a proud member of the first session of WJMC 2025. She plans to attend college to major in law and minor in journalism, combining her passion for advocacy and communication. Aubrey has a particular interest in criminal law and hopes to use her studies to make a positive impact in the legal field. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and listening to music. She had an incredible experience at WJMC and is excited to continue her involvement as a member of the Youth Advisory Board.

Asia Adams is a senior at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. She attended session two of WJMC 2025 this summer. She plans to attend college with a major in journalism or mass media studies. Apart from journalism Asia is heavily involved in her school’s theater program and enjoys creating costume looks for upcoming productions. Asia has enjoyed her time this past summer and can’t wait to continue her journey with WJMC as part of the advisory board!

Ashleigh Haney is a senior at First Flight High School and is Editor-In-Chief of her school’s newspaper. She has been on staff for three years working her way up. She plans to continue writing in college and hopes to get her doctorate. Ashleigh loved her time at WJMC because she had not gotten that experience before. She is so grateful to soon be a part of the Youth Advisory Board for WJMC 2026.

Annalee Judge is a student journalist at Klein Cain High School who attended WJMC in July 2025. She is a broadcasting producer and yearbook editor for her school’s journalism program, and actively works to share the stories of those around her. When not busy behind the camera, she takes the stage in the theatre department, takes time to journal, and listens to her favorite band, Chase Atlantic. She can’t wait to continue her journey with WJMC and hopes to share her passion with others! 

Angela is a senior from Denver, Colorado that attended the WJMC in 2025. As part of her senior project, she is the co-teacher of her Advanced Digital Journalism class, which produces weekly episodes for the school, and is very passionate about the work that involves. She is also an editor for her yearbook, the Vice President of the National Honor Society and an instructor for the debate team. In her free time, she enjoys walking dogs at the animal shelter, doing crafts, making YouTube videos, playing video games, and spending time with her friends and family.

Anabelle Cox is a 2025 Alumna hailing from the Orange Group and a student at Foothills Community Christian School. Her dream is to work in the film industry. In her spare time, Anabelle loves to play and watch basketball (Go PB5!!), make films, read, and hike. Anabelle is looking forward to being a part of the Youth Advisory Board and help make next year’s conference the best one yet!

 Ambar Carolina Roche Quinones, a 16-year-old Puerto Rican girl, is a junior at Wesleyan Academy with a strong passion for leadership and community impact, with the aspiration of becoming a journalist. At her young age, she has already accomplished numerous projects that she believes will help her in her future profession. She has completed a summer program at WJMC, discharged the duties of school photographer, NJHS and NHS historian. The junior student founded and is now the Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper, “The Wesleyan Wire”, where she is known for her strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ambar hopes to continue developing her leadership skills to make a lasting impact as she states, “Journalism is not only a profession but a lifelong commitment to empowering voices and telling stories that matter”.

Amalia “Molly” Rorschach is a student at Schulenburg High School in Texas and will graduate in 2027. She is a member of the yearbook staff and serves as the Vice President of Student Council and is Junior Class President. Molly is also involved in varsity cheer, band (where she is a saxophone section leader), varsity golf, NHS, UIL, and FFA. Additionally, she works as the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce Social Media Manager and is a BigFuture/College Board Ambassador. In her free time, she enjoys going to summer camp, reading, fishing, and listening to music. Molly had a life-changing experience at WJMC 2025, and she is so excited to help shape future conferences as a part of the Youth Advisory Board.

Alesandra McFadden is excited to be a part of the Youth Advisory Board for the 2026 conference, with her being a part of WJMC in 2025. It was a transformative experience that inspired her greatly. In her free time, Aly loves to go on runs and read. Aly hopes to go to college and study communications and political science on her experience at WJMC!
