Faculty and Junior Faculty Opportunities
Each summer, WJMC recruits award-winning faculty and junior faculty from across the country to lead groups of 25 students throughout the week of conference activities. Our faculty are creative, innovative and experienced journalism teachers and advisers representing some of the best student media programs across the country. Our junior faculty are WJMC alumni currently pursuing journalism and communications-related degrees.

Nominate Your Best Students for 2020
Thank you for your interest in the Washington Journalism and Media Conference. Nominations for WJMC 2019 are now being accepted. Please click on the link to your left to nominate deserving student leaders to represent your school and state as National Youth Correspondents. To be eligible, students must be currently in the 10th or 11th grade (in school year 2018-2019).

During the conference, students will hear from distinguished professionals in journalism and media, but will also tackle important ethical and leadership questions in small group simulation activities.
