Riley Price
WJMC Alumn 2025, YAB 2026
Riley Price is a senior at Glenvar High School and a student in the Governor’s STEM Academy for Mass Communication at the Burton Center for Arts and Technology in Salem, Virginia. She is a production intern for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs minor league hockey team, president of her school’s FBLA chapter, and is a Tudor House Teen Ambassador working to spread mental health education. She was a national qualifier in the 2025 FBLA competition for Broadcast Journalism. In her free time she can be found playing tennis, keeping up with the latest Formula One gossip, and participating in Girl Scouts, earning her Gold Award in July 2025. Riley’s favorite 2025 WJMC experience was touring the Pentagon and meeting reporters assigned to cover it. She hopes to use her 2025 WJMC experiences to propel her forward as a scientific journalist.
