Shjan Carter attends Harry S. Truman High School in the Bronx, New York. She is a member of her school’s media and communications program, and after graduation, she plans to go to college and major in business while minoring in journalism. Shjan attended session 1 of WJMC 2018, and it was one of her favorite journalism experiences so far. She wants to be apart of the Youth Advisory Board to make sure that the future attendees of WJMC have an even better experience.
