Sophia has been taking journalism classes for 2 years and has been Associate Editor for her school’s newspaper for one year. Outside of journalism, Sophia has been a competitive dancer for 10 years, and is very active with student government and civic engagement activities! Sophia attended WJMC the summer of 2025, and it was at WJMC where she discovered her passion for journalism. Sophia wishes to attend college and study journalism and political science, to in the future become a political journalist.
