Carina Christo is a junior at Medfield High School where she is a member of her school newspaper as well as her school’s literary magazine. She is president of spanish club and multicultural club and a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, culinary club and Hope for Haiti. She is a part of the varsity field hockey and track teams. In her free time she loves tutoring at 826 Boston, working on creative writing projects and studying with kids k-12 from Boston Public Schools. She has published a young adult novel called Loud Silence and is working on more stories! Currently she is writing for a newspaper started by her friends at WJMC whom she is till in touch with. It’s called the Glass Box News– check it out!!

Taylor Yuan is a part of the graduating class of 2020 at Arapahoe High School in Littleton, CO. She has been in journalism for four years and is currently a photo editor for her school’s yearbook publication, The Calumet. Other than journalism, Yuan is an officer for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), is a Link Crew Leader, plays volleyball, and always tries to spread love and joy. In 2018, she represented her city as a WJMC National Youth Correspondent and hope WJMC inspires future correspondents as it did for her.

Samantha Spatorico is a senior at Starpoint High School in Lockport, New York. She is the photography editor of her school yearbook and the senior editor of her school newspaper, Startimes. Her many hobbies include, photography, writing, filmmaking, reading, and much more! Attending WJMC 2018 is one of her favorite memories and it is a complete honor to have been chosen to be on the Youth Advisory Board. She hopes to help make WJMC 2019 an even greater experience for future correspondents!

Madison Esposito is a senior in high school from a small town in Massachusetts. She was a National Youth Correspondent for the Washington Journalism and Media Conference in 2018. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, participating in Model UN, reading, and writing. She hopes to one day write a book of her own. She is thrilled to be a member of the Youth Advisory Board and is excited to make WJMC 2019 the best it can be.

Abigail (Abby) Forbes is a high school senior from Morrisville, Pennsylvania. She has spent the majority of her life dancing, acting, taking pictures, and writing. Recently, she joined her school’s newspaper due to inspiration from this past year’s conference. Attending the Washington Journalism and Media Conference this past summer, was one of the best times she has ever had, and she cannot wait to help as a part of this year’s Youth Advisory Board.

Ainsley attended the Washington Journalism and Media Conference in 2018 as an upcoming high school junior. She believes the conference made a lasting impression, and the experiences in Washington DC were unparalleled to her previous exposures to journalism. Ainsley now writes for her school newspaper in Edmond, Oklahoma and is a staff writer at Poptized Magazine, a pop culture publication based in DC. Reporting without fear fascinates Ainsley, and she one day hopes to be war correspondent.

Adiziemma Anyichie (Addy) attends Carl Wunsche Sr High school in Spring,Tx. She was a Washington Journalism Media Conference National Youth Correspondent in 2018. WJMC was such an unforgettable, amazing, and eventful experience for her that she wants to be on the Youth Advisory Board to give back and help make the WJMC journey for future students fun and unforgettable. Addy enjoys writing essays about societal issues that matter.

Andrew Onodera is a senior at Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado. He currently is the Executive Producer for the Cherry Creek Sports Network, his high school’s live broadcasting program. Outside of school, he works as a sideline reporter for Lacrosse Talk Radio covering the Colorado Mammoth, Denver Pioneers, and Colorado State Rams. In his spare time, Andrew likes to spend time with friends and enjoy the 300 days of Colorado’s sunshine!
