Eloise Wallace

ELOISE WALLACE

This is Eloise Wallace. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and is a junior in high school at Fort Worth Country Day School. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, writing articles for her school’s newspaper, watching football and other sports, being an editor for her school’s yearbook, and reading books. She attended WJMC 2024, and had the time of her life. She is very excited to have the opportunity to serve on the Youth Advisory Board for WJMC this year.

Diego Ramos Rivera

DIEGO RAMOS RIVERA

Diego is an 11th-grade student at Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ever since he started studying at San Ignacio in 2020, he has been proactively participating in many clubs and associations. Presently he is the Editor-in-Chief of San Ignacio’s students’ newspaper El Ignaciano, and a member of the UN Model, Yearbook Club, Politics Club, Admissions Club, Oratory Club, and Peer Ministers. Diego is passionate about the art of writing, music, history, and leadership. He is also involved in many anti-bullying campaigns, as he collaborates in Costruyendo Solidaridad e Igualdad Committee.

Christopher Cohen

CHRISTOPHER COHEN

Christopher is currently a senior at Holy Cross High School, in Queens New York. He is currently the head manager for Holy Cross Televison (HCTV). During his time at HCTV Christopher has been able to edit videos, direct HCTV specials, and be on air. Christopher thoroughly enjoyed his time at WJMC in the summer of 2024 and wants to bring the same experience he had to a new generation of kids.

Charlotte Larson

Charlotte Larson is a High School junior, she is an aspiring journalist and psychologist. She enjoys writing, hiking, horror movies, and exploring. Charlotte attended the 2024 WJMC conference and is excited to be a part of the YAB

Caroline Sears

CAROLINE SEARS

Caroline is currently a senior at James W. Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, VA. Where she is apart of the field hockey and lacrosse programs since freshman year. Caroline is also an editor in chief for her high school yearbook staff, Above and Beyond. Caroline got to attend WJMC in the summer of 2024 where she had the best week and would recommend to anyone who is interested to pursue more knowledge about journalism

Caroline Egbuniwe

CAROLINE EGBUNIWE

Caroline Egbuniwe is a seventeen-year-old high school senior from Summerville, South Carolina with a deep love for writing, which she plans to pursue as a career! When she’s not in class, she’s at theatre rehearsals, cuddling with her dog, Coco, and of course-writing! A lover of unique experiences, she got everything she hoped for at the 2024 Washington Journalism and Media Conference and wants to ensure that next year’s attendees have an equally amazing experience! She is eager to collaborate with her fellow alumni and plans to enjoy every step of the process!

Camryn Heon

CAMRYN HEON

Camryn Heon, a proud Mexican Canadian from El Paso, Texas, embraces her multicultural roots as both a dedicated athlete and aspiring journalist. Representing Mexico’s National Hockey Team, Camryn showcases her commitment to her heritage while competing at an international level. Her passion for storytelling has led her to contribute articles to The City Magazine, Teen Vogue, and other publications. Beyond her love for writing, especially poetry, Camryn enjoys golfing and spending time with horses. With her sights set on Georgetown University, she aims to make an impact through her words and continue exploring diverse perspectives in journalism.

Camilla O’Connell

Camilla O’Connell attended WJMC in 2024. In college she hopes to pursue journalism with a focus in broadcast and multimedia. O’Connell is also a Jostens ambassador and a ambassador for the GSPA 24-25. Outside of journalism O’Connell enjoys hockey, hanging out with friends, traveling and singing. Bryn Laubscher

BRYN LAUBSCHER

Bryn Laubscher is a senior at Michigan Virtual Charter Academy. She attended WJMC in 2024, where she met some of her closest friends. Bryn enjoys reading books, writing her own stories, and creating digital art. She also spends hours upon hours listening to music and discovering new artists, often averaging 1000+ listening minutes a week. She is honored to be a part of the YAB and to have experienced the amazing six days that is WJMC.

Brooklyn Richey

BROOKLYN RICHEY

Brooklyn Richey is a Junior at Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah. She attended session two of the Washington Journalism and Media Conference in 2024 where she created good friendships she hopes will stay strong throughout her life. She participates in Student Government, Tennis, Basketball, Softball, and the Bagpipe Corps as a snare drummer. She is a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoys anything to do with writing. In the future, she aspires to become an investigative journalist.
