Lauren is the President of The Society of Professional Journalists at George Mason University. She seeks to instill solid networking skills, strong ethical morals, and an appreciation for the history of journalism and those who have dedicated their lives practicing and defending their rights to the Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Press.
