Riley Price
WJMC Alumn 2025, YAB 2026
Riley Price is a senior at Glenvar High School and a student in the Governor’s STEM Academy for Mass Communication at the Burton Center for Arts and Technology in Salem, Virginia. She is a production intern for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs minor league hockey team, president of her school’s FBLA chapter, and is a Tudor House Teen Ambassador working to spread mental health education. She was a national qualifier in the 2025 FBLA competition for Broadcast Journalism. In her free time she can be found playing tennis, keeping up with the latest Formula One gossip, and participating in Girl Scouts, earning her Gold Award in July 2025. Riley’s favorite 2025 WJMC experience was touring the Pentagon and meeting reporters assigned to cover it. She hopes to use her 2025 WJMC experiences to propel her forward as a scientific journalist.

Reagan Genske is a 17 year old from Willow Spring, NC. She attended WJMC in July of 2025 as a part of the first sessions green group. She plans to continue her academic career by go into sports marketing after high school. She is currently working on acquiring her associates degree in art.
Paige Kelly is a current senior at Hurricane High School, where she plays tennis and runs cross-country. She is a current member of the National Honor Society, Art Honor Society, English Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. She is also the current president and founder of Trivia Club. She attended the Washington Journalism and Media Conference in 2025 and had the highlight of her summer. She is extremely excited to work with the Youth Advisory Board and help future youth correspondents have the best possible experience while attending the Washington Journalism and Media Conference.
Olivia Angelo is an alumni of the 2025 WJMC program. She is a junior at Trinity High School and is particularly passionate about History and Psychology. Outside of class, she participates in her school’s cross country team, musical cast, leadership club, and speech and debate team. She is also a member of her school’s NHS and Superintendent Advisory Committee. Outside of school, she enjoys spending her time reading and watching movies. She is looking forward to participating and making a difference in the Youth Advisory Board for WJMC this year.Â
Noah DeLuke is a current junior at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Virginia. He is a current editor for Lake Braddock’s student newspaper, the Bear Facts, while writing stories ranging from Brawl Stars to local restaurants. DeLuke is also a member of Lake Braddock’s varsity cross country and track team, band, and many different clubs. In his free time, DeLuke likes to watch movies, play spikeball, or hang out with friends. After high school, he plans to become a political journalist or a lawyer.Â
Natalee is a hard working person who is ready to help bring out the confidence in reserved people, just like herself. She loves books, art, writing stories and photography. She is hoping to get degree in art education with a minor in journalism. She hopes to help incorporate visual art into journalism in a positive way. She can’t wait to see everyone this summer!
Miguel Salinas is a high school junior from Ponte Vedra, Florida. He attended the Washington Journalism and Media Conference the summer of 2025 and was deeply influenced by his experience there. Miguel is a film student in the International Baccalaureate program, and after attending WJMC he has decided to pursue journalism— he was inspired by speakers at the conference to join his school’s student newspaper as its social media video producer, writing and filming short-form style news reels.
McCartie McPadden is a junior at Fort Worth Country Day School in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended WJMC in the summer of 2025. She is the Managing Print and Social Media Editor for her school’s newspaper, the Falcon Quill. Besides writing, she enjoys all things acting and theater, singing, reading, and hanging out with her friends and family. She is so excited to help make WJMC just as magical for the next round of correspondents as it was for her.
Marnie is currently a junior at Snowflake High School in Snowflake, Arizona. She enjoys baking and reading in her free time. She attended session one of WJMC in 2025, which fed her interest in journalism and media as a whole. As in the future, she would like to go on to work in film or motorsport journalism.
Madison DeMeester is a junior at Central Bucks West High School and loves to get involved with as much as she can. She has a love for politics and journalism and hopes to run for public office one day. Apart from her academics she is also involved in cheerleading and track for her school. She is involved in a wide variety of clubs through out her school. She is so excited to be on the WJMC Youth Advisory Board!Â
